http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUvj-cj2-hY

In “An American in Rome”, one of the most notable scenes is when Alberto Sordi, pretending to be American, denies the pasta dish showing he eats the “American way”, jam, yogurt, mustard and drinks milk, not red wine. But in the end, after the first bite of this mixture he looks at the pasta dish and says: “Maccaroni, you provoked me and now I’ll destroy you!” and indulges in a good old dish of pasta. Today I introduce to you one of the most loved and easiest pasta recipes here in Italy. Check it out!

These are fresh spaghetti I made with the recipe you can find here. To prepare the seasoning, fry a few bits of garlic chopped very small in some extravirgin oil, add some chilli peppers cut very small as well, stir and let it cook for a little. Once the pasta is ready add it to the pan with the oil and pan-fry it a few minutes, then serve.

I love to eat pasta this way. Sometimes I throw in an anchovy or two.
